Since 1985, Infrared Inspections, Inc. has
provided all types of infrared surveys nationwide. These surveys include, but are not limited to, roofs, electrical
systems, mechanical systems and building heat loss. Anything that emits heat is a possible subject for thermal analysis.

Roof surveys are done to identify moisture laden insulation inside the roof system and invisible to the naked eye.
There are three reasons why it is desirable to identify moisture in a roof system: to pinpoint wet insulation before
a re-roofing project; to help determine the true condition of a roof system; and, to find the source of leaks.
Electrical
scanning is done to identify abnormal heating in the electrical system. Electrical connections that are loose or corroded
create heat. When we open electrical panels, it is this abnormal heating that an experienced thermogrpher can identify and
document for future repairs. The benefit of electrical scanning is twofold: To prevent unplanned and costly downtime
and to reduce the risk of fire. Building heat-loss surveys are done to identify building heat-loss!
We were pioneers in utilizing infrared scanning in conjuction with blower door testing in identifying insulation voids, low-density
insulation and air bypasses that send your heat ( and heating bills ) right through the roof.
